AISA, new company for aviation computer service

A new company specializing in computerized solutions for the aviation has been set up on Wednesday in Tunis under an agreement concluded between national carrier Tunisair and SITA, world specialist provider of IT solutions to airlines and airports.
The new joint venture, called Aviation IT Services Africa (AISA) has a 3 million-US dollar-capital, shared out to the rate of 50% for Tunisair, 49% for SITA and 1% for MEDSOFT (partner of SITA in Tunisia).
AISA is expected to modernize administrative and operational systems of Tunisair and reduce costs through the use of the latest IT technology, to bring Tunisair's IT platform into line with international standards.
